NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that on June 21, 2018 at 6:50 pm a Public Hearing will be held before the Planning & Zoning Commission of the City of Rexburg, Idaho, at City Hall located at 35 North 1" East, Rexburg, Idaho, regarding a Conditional Use Permit #18 00275 to allow Household Warehousing and Storage in a Mixed Use (MU) zone, per the Rexburg Development Code as a Conditional Use. The said parcel is located at 261 North 1" East in Rexburg, Madison County, Idaho, and more particularly described as follows: Legal Description: Beginning at the Southeast corner of Lot 1, Block 15 of the Original Rexburg Townsite, thence North 00°00'00" East along the East line of said Lot 1 for a distance of 76.00 feet to the true point of beginning; thence South 90°00'00" West. for a distance of 135.10 feet; thence South 00°00'00" West for a distance of 16.00 feet; thence South; 90°00'00" West for a distance of 62.90 feet; thence North 00°00'00" East for a distance of 11.00 feet; thence South 90°00'00" West for a distance of 132.00 feet to the West line of Lot 1, Block 15 of the Original Rexburg Townsite; thence North 00°00'00" East along the West lie of said Lot, l for a distance of 15.60 feet; thence North 90°00'00" East for a distance of 112.40 feet, thence North 00°00'00" East for a distance of 100.20 feet; thence North 90000'00" East for a distance of 132.60 feet, thence North 00°00'00" East for a distance of 21.20 feet; thence North 90000'00" East for a distance of 85.00 feet to the East line of Lot 1; thence South 00°00'00" West for a distance of 132.00 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING. At such hearing the Planning & Zoning Commission will hear all persons and all objections and recommendations relative to such proposed permit. The City Clerk will also accept written comments at City Hall prior to 4:00 p.m. on June 20, 2018. The applicant will come forward, providing his/hex name and residential mailing address for the record and the Commission will ask clarifying questions of the applicant. The members of the Commission may ask Staff about anything they feel will help clarify the proposal. The public hearing will be opened by the chairman the Commission their views for this proposal. 5. The chairman will officially recognize the speaker. Please come forward: At this time, the public may testify to © State your name ® Address Affiliation to the proposal (neighbor, business associate, interested citizen, of other) o The Commission will not interact with anyone in the audience during Public testimony (no questions) and we would also ask, out of courtesy to the Commission, if you would please not repeat any like testimony, but rather say you agree with what has been stated and then give additional testimony. ® Try to focus on the facts and potential impacts. o Speak to the decision makers - Commissioners o The time limit for oral testimony is 5 minutes. 6. The Public hearing will then be closed. Once the hearing is closed, no public participation can occur. 9. The Commission will ask Staff to present their report and findings. 10. (Any declarations of Conflict or perceived Conflict of interest by the commissioners) 11. The Commission will then discuss the proposal and make a recommendation. 12. The Commission will make a motion declaring the reason for their decision. 13. The Commission will deliberate on the motion. 14. Lastly, The Commission will vote on the motion, which will be a recommendation to City Council.
