RE: Narrative Statement for Arbor Cove Redevelopment
Dear Tawnya,
The Arbor Cove Project is 4.3 acres and currently zoned Mixed Use. The majority of adjacent
properties are also dormitory style housing. Porter Park is on the north and single family
dwellings are to the west. A total of 84 units are planned with a mixture of 6 and 8 bed units.
A traffic study has been completed by Horrocks Engineering and is on file with the Public Works
Department. JRW & Associates has met with the Fire Department regarding fire protection and
the locations of new fire hydrants.
The solid waste will be located behind the building in the parking area. Storm retainage will be
contained in sub -surface structures.
