Exit Access meets the requirements of IBC Section 1016 REVISIONS* Add exit sign on main floor near area under top of stairs with directional arrow pointing to north exit. * Have "EXIT" display on both sides of sign at top of stairs. * Directional exit sign may be required closer to upper dining area from south exit if sign is not readily visible at door. *Revisions Response : Occupant load is identified on plans as per IBC Section 1004 REVISIONS147 noted under code summary (allowed?). 98 is total under "occupant load schedule". 87 in seating alone. TOTAL OCCUPANT LOAD? * Occupant load of the assembly space must be posted per 1004.3 *Revisions Response : Doors meet the requirements of IBC Section 1010 REVISIONSEgress doors shall be of the swinging type - Only door from kitchen is a sliding door. *Revisions Response : Panic Hardware shall be installed as per IBC Section 1010.1.10 Exit doors are part of building shell. Due to the A-2 occupancy, panic hardware is required on egress doors serving assembly areas. Approval based on inspections. COMPLETED Concealed spaces are fireblocked/draftstopped per Section 718 Fire blocking shall comply with 718 and will be approved based on inspections. COMPLETED Service Facilities comply with IBC 1109.12 Service/Point of sales counters shall have at least 36" of counter length no more than 36" above the floor. COMPLETED Glass and Glazing meets the requirements of IBC Chapter 24 Glazing on exterior wall (part of building shell permit) in hazardous locations shall be safety glazing.
