Firefree Coatings has tested numerous wall and ceiling assemblies in accordance to ASTM E-119 standard for one and two hour ratings. As well in accordance to ASTM E-84 horizontal flame spread test and meets the class A rating with SDI 0 and FSI 0, and tested in accordance to BSS 476 with class 0 rating. In addition, we have tested to the 15 Minute Room Fire Test (FM 4880, NFPA 286) and IBC 2603 15 -Mt Thermal Barrier testing on composite panels. Firefree 88 has been tested for industries such as aviation (B/E Aerospace), maritime (SOLAS) and transportation (DOE) in accordance to ASTM www.astm.org standards such as ASTM E-662-97 (BSS7239), ASTM E-3675-98, ASTM E-16232, ASTM E-1354- 94, ASTM E-814, BS 476 Part 6 & 7, EN 13501-1 fire tests. The tests were performed on a variety of substrates including sheetrock, wood, cellulose tiles, cement board, lath & plaster, concrete; sheet metal embossed tin ceiling, polyurethane foam, polyethylene foam, polyisocyanurate foam, composite panels (OSB/polystyrene foam, metal/polyurethane foam, fiberglass/polyurethane foam/gypsum) and advanced materials such as aluminum (Spectra Back Box), fiberglass and carbon fiber, etc... This extensive testing has been performed at third party accredited International Accreditation Service (IAS), ISO/IEC 17025 and relevant requirements of the ISO 9000 series of standards fire testing laboratories including Western Fire Center, Factory Mutual (a division of FM Global), Omega Laboratories (currently known as Intertek Testing), Southwest, Underwriters Laboratory, Warnock Hersey and the University of California Forest Products Lab. FF88 has been shown to withstand temperatures up to 220OF (12004 C) for up to two hours. By comparison, an average fire will burn at about 1000F to 1500F. In accordance to EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) method 24, FF88 is found to contain a VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) W -DISCLAIMER: The contents ofthis document are confidential and intended for the named recipient only.
