On February 2nd, 2017, I received a call from an anonymous caller stating there is some “really bad electrical wiring” in the mechanical room located off the laundry area in the lowest level of the building. I went over to investigate what the individual was talking about that same day, and found an unsafe wiring situation that has been done fairly recently. I visited with your manager (Brady Abbott) briefly and told him I would be in contact with the owner to address this immediately. I have attached some pictures to this email to indicate the wiring of concern. I have also been in contact with the State of Idaho (Division of Building Safety) with regards to licensing and if they knew anything about this. They responded back to me with no information regarding this project. It is also my understanding that you have had a Mechanical/Plumbing Contractor by the name of Doug’s Repair, recently doing some work on the heating system. I need to get more clarification with regards to what was done by them. In addition to the wiring issues, the dryers are not vented to the outside so the CO is going in the room-being these dyers are gas. This must also be addressed as per the mechanical inspector. I will send a second email due to the size of the pictures I'm sending indicating the dryer vent situation. We must have these items addressed right away.
