Public Hearing: July 20, 2017 at 6:35 pm at City Hall, 35 North 1" East, Rexburg, Idaho, before the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Rexburg, Madison County, Idaho, to consider (#17 00323) to change the Comprehensive Plan Map from Commercial to Low -Moderate Density Residential for the Ringel Parcel of approximately 25 plus acres less a strip of land 250 feet wide adjacent to 12`" West and Hwy 33 in the City of Rexburg, Madison County, Idaho and more particularly described as follows: Tract 1: Beginning at the Northeast corner of Section 26, Township 6 North, Range 39 East, Boise Meridian, Madison County, Idaho, thence West along the North boundary line of said section 1612 feet; thence South 728.5 feet; thence East 1612 feet; thence North along the East Boundary line of said section 728.5 feet to the point of beginning. LESS: Township 6 North, Range 39 East, Boise Meridian, Madison County, Idaho, Section 26: Corrnnencing at a point 1612 feet West of the Northeast corner of said Section 26, and running thence South 405 feet; thence East 10 feet; thence North 405 feet; thence West 10 feet to the point of beginning. This notice is given pursuant to the provisions of Section 67-6508, 67-6509 and 67-6511 Idaho Code, and all amendments thereof. The applicant will come forward giving their Name/Address and explain the proposal and the commission will ask clarifying questions of the applicant. 2. (Optional) We may allow questions from the public to ask for clarification about the proposal. (Not feelings or opinions about the proposal) 3. Staff may then be asked about anything they feel will help clarify the proposal. 4. We will then open it up to public hearing, where the public may testify to the commission their views for this proposal. Please come forward • State your Name • Address • Affiliation to the proposal (neighbor, business associate, interested citizen or other) • The commission will not interact with anyone during Public testimony (no questions) and we would also ask, out of courtesy to the commission, if you would please not repeat any like testimony, but rather say you agree with what has been stated and then give any testimony additional testimony. (No interaction with the Public from this Point forward except by digression from the chair . 5. We will hear testimony in the following order: • First, from those who are FOR the proposal • Second, Those who are NEUTRAL, neither for nor against • Third, those who are AGAINST the proposal • If any testimony is given against the proposal the applicant will then have an opportunity for rebuttal. • Introduce any written input into the record during appropriate testimony 6. The Public hearing will then be closed and we will ask Staff to present their report and findings. (Any declarations of Conflict or perceived Conflict of interest by the commissioners) 8.
