ANY CONFLICTS OR DISCREPANCIES WITH EXISTING UTILITIES SHALL BE BROUGHT TO THE ATTENTION OF THE ENGINEER IMMEDIATELY. THRUST BLOCKS SHALL BE PLACED ON WATERLINES AT ALL DIRECTION CHANGES, FITTINGS, BENDS, ELBOWS, FIRE HYDRANTS AND GATES VALVES AS SHOWN IN THE PROJECT PLANS. MINIMUM COVER FOR WATERLINES SHALL BE SIX FEET, EIGHT FEET MAXIMUM, MEASURED TO THE TOP OF PIPE UNLESS OTHERWISE SHOWN ON THE PLANS. THERE SHALL BE TEN FEET MINIMUM SEPARATION BETWEEN ALL NEW WATERLINES AND NEW SEWER LINES EXCEPT WHERE THE LINES CROSS AT APPROXIMATE RIGHT ANGLES. A MINIMUM OF OF 18 INCHES VERTICAL SEPARATION SHALL BE MAINTAINED AT ALL CROSSINGS. THE CONTRACTOR IS TO FOLLOW THE FILLING PROCEDURE OUTLINED IN SECTION 401.3.9.B.b.4 IN DIVISION 400 OF THE ISPWC, THE CONTRACTOR IS ALSO TO FOLLOW THE FINAL FLUSHING AND BACTERIOLOGICAL TESTS AS OUTLINED IN SECTION 3.9.0&D OF DIVISION 400 OF THE ISPWC. ALL WATER SYSTEM COMPONENTS SHALL BE INSTALLED, PRESSURE TESTED, AND CHLORINATED. THE TESTING IS TO INCLUDE FLUSHING AND DISINFECTION AS OUTLINED IN SECTION 401.3.9 OF DIVISION 400 OF THE ISPWC.
