HomeMy WebLinkAboutBACKFLOW INFO - 16-00627 - 00631 - Sawtelle ApartmentsSeries 2000B Double Check Valve Assemblies are designed to protect drinking water sup- plies for dangerous cross-connections in accordance with national plumbing codes and water authority requirements for non-health-hazard non-potable service applications such as irrigation, fire line, or industrial processing. These valves meet the requirements of ASSE Std. 1015 and AWWA Std. C510 and are approved by the Foun da tion for Cross-Con nec tion Control and Hy drau lic Re search at the University of South ern California. Specifications A Double Check Valve Assembly shall be installed at each not ed lo ca tion. The as sem bly shall con sist of two positive seat ing check mod ules with cap tured springs and rubber seat discs. The check module seats and seat discs shall be re place able. Ser vice of all internal com po nents shall be through a sin gle ac cess cover se cured with stainless steel bolts. The as sem bly shall also in clude two resilient seat ed iso la tion valves and four top mount ed, re sil ient seat ed test cocks. The as sem bly shall meet the re quire ments of ASSE Std. 1015 and AWWA Std. C510. Ap proved by the Foun da tion for Cross-Con nec tion Control and Hy drau lic Re search at the Uni ver si ty of South ern Cal i for nia. As sem bly shall be an Ames Company Series 2000B. Approvals Approved by the Foundation for Cross-Connection Control and Hy drau lic Research at the University of Southern California. LBV models not listed. Horizontal and vertical "flow up" approval on all sizes.
