I have reviewed the drawings for the Parkside Clubhouse and have identified the following
deficiencies:
1. A new site plan was not provided with the drawing. Provide handicapped parking
and identify the accessible route from the building to the handicapped spaces and
to the pedestrian walks. Identify dimensions from the building to the other
buildings and to the property line.
2. The plans must be stamped by a licensed professional as per the 2000 International
Building Code (IBC) Section 106.1. Provide structural calculations.
3. Submit manufacturer's certificate of compliance for all components as per IBC
Section 1621.3.5.
4. Provide 1 hr. separation between the pool equipment room and the rest of the
building. Identify the door to this room as a fire rated door.
5. Identify exit signs.
6. Please provide truss details before framing inspection.
7. Energy calculations are required as per the 2000 International Energy
Conservation Code.
8. The energy code compliance documents that you provided me for the Rexburg,
Idaho Parkside Clubhouse are for Spanish Fork Utah and were created using an
outdated software. Please provide a new checklist using COM Check (available at
energycodes.com). Be sure to pick the 2000 IECC and Rexburg, Idaho from the
drop down lists.
9. I have attached a copy of the Fire Department review to the back of this
document. Please resolve any issues identified by them.
Please provide me with 2 new copies of corrected plans. If you have any questions, please
