concrete unless naturally occuring granular
bose material is encountered and approved by the
City Engineer.
2. All concrete shall be cured with a curing
compound as specified in the Standard
Specifications or as directed by the
City Engineer. (Materials Section is 501.07)
3. Standard sidewalk width is 5 foot in new
construction. Standard slope is 1/4' per
foot to street.
4. Place preformed expansion joint filler at
driveway construction and at maximum
spacing of 50 feel for new sidewalk
construction.
5. 1:12 slope maximum
6. Elevation at back of walk based upon a slope
rote of 1/4' per fool from the theoretical top of
curb to bock of walk. Driveway slope will then be
variable matching the bock of sidewalk elevation
and the top of depressed curb elevation.
