I have reviewed your request for a Building Permit for your new office building
located at 215 West Main in Rexburg. The existing building configuration will not meet
City Ordinance or the Building Code. The manufactured building must be placed on a
foundation in order for it to be considered a permanent -building. Also the stairs,
handrails and guardrails into the building must meet Building Code requirements. Please
advise me on how you wish to proceed. If you want to keep the building, I will need 2
copies of building plans. Include a site plan and a foundation plan that identifies all
construction details including how the building will be tied to the mud sill. The plans
must be stamped by a licensed professional. If you have any questions, please give me a
call at 359-3020 ext. 324.
