Box 280 12 North Center Street Rexburg, Idaho 83440 Phone (208) 359-3020 Fax(208)359-3022 e-mail rexburg@ci.rexburg.id.us I have reviewed the plans for Celestial Village Apartments and have identified the following discrepancies: 1. There is a shortage of parking spaces. An effort has been made to identify some of the units as one bedroom with a study. This seems to be an attempt to bypass the ordinance governing the amount ofrequired spaces. Our parking requires 2 spaces for two bedroom units. Please provide them. 2. Please provide storm retention pond calculations. 3. Please identify the right-of-way on site plan. 4. The room identified as a study in. the "Handicapped Unit' does not meet the space requirements for a habitable room as per the 1997 Uniform Building Code (UBC) Section 310.6. 5. Please identify mechanical rooms. 6. The plans identify a draft stop separating the attic space of the units on one side. If flexible ducting is to be used in the attic space, the draft stop must be replaced with a fire -wall extending to roof sheeting. 7. Provide horn/strobe units as per Fire Department review. I have attached a copy of the Fire Department review to the back of this document. Please return two sets of corrected plans. Let me know if I can be of any further assistance.
