NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
TO AMEND THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN MAP
FOR THE CITY OF REXBURG
NOTICE IS HEREBY GiVl-'N that a Public Hearings will be held February 19, 20"15 at 7:05
P.M...at City Hall, 35 North I" East, Rexburg, .Idaho, before the Planning and Zoning
Commission of the City of Rexburg, Madison County, Idaho, to consider a Comprehensive Plan
Map Amendment for the City of Rexburg for the 3)" West Neighborhood to change die land use
designation from Moderate -High Density Residential to Low -Moderate Density Residential. The
request is from the neighborhood; the Lepal Description is as follows:
Property location: See accompanying map for description of the specified properties in the 3"' West
Neighborhood.
Boundary Description:
Beginning on Main Street and 4"' West continuing north along the 4"' West right of way until 2""
North, then east until the canal, then follow the canal north until the canal 'intersects with 2n° West,
then south down 2"" West until 2" `' North, then west on 2"a North until 3"' West, then south on 3°"
West until Main Street, then west on',\/Iain Street to the point of beginning.
The boundary includes all of blocks 29, 26 and 27, as well as partial blocks of 7, 8 and 4.
At such hearing the Plan -ung and 'Zoning Commission will hear all persons and all objections and
reconnnuendaLions relative to such proposed permits. The City Clerk will also accept written
comments at City Hall prior to 4:00 P.M... on the 18's of February, 2015. This notice is given
pursuant to the provisions of Section 67-6508, 67-6509 and 67-6511 Idaho Code, and all
au7endments thereof.
