All interested persons are invited to appear and show cause, if any, why such budget should or should not he adopted. Copies of the proposed City budget in detail are available at City Hall during the regalia office hours (8 am to 4 pm, weekdays). City Hall is accessible to persons with disabilities. Anyone desiring accommodations for disabilities related to the budget documents or to the hearing, please contact City Hall, 359-3020 at least 48 hours prior to the public hearing. The proposed expenditures and revenues for FY 2001 have been tentatively approved by the City Council and entered in detail in the Journal of proceedings. NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING PROPOSED FEE INCREASE FOR WATER EFFECTIVE OCTOBER 1, 2000 CITY OF REXBURG, IDAHO A public hearing will be held for the consideration of the proposed fee increase effective October 1, 2000. The hearing will be held at City Hall, 12 N. Center, Rexburg, Idaho, at 8:15 p.m., on September 6, 2000. All interested persons are invited to appear and show cause, if my, why such fee increase should or should not be adopted. The following fee increase resolution is proposed: Pursuant to City Ordinance No. 749, be it resolved by the Rexburg City Council, effective October 1, 2000, the water raze to be charged to users shall be a minimum of $12.25 base monthly charge for each 3/4" water meter or equivalent multiple thereof, plus 53.7 cents ($0.537) per thousand gallons used over six thousand gallons and equal to or less than one million gallons per billing. Water usage over one million gallons per billing shall be charged 51.0 cents ($0.51) per thousand gallons. All utility customers located out ofthe City limits shall pay 30% additional for all charges. The hearing will be held at City Hall, 12 N. Center, Rexburg, Idaho, at 8:15 p.m., on September 6, 2000. The following fee increase resolution is proposed: Pursuant to City Ordinance No. 638, be it msolved by the Rexburg City Council, effective October 1, 2000, the sewer rate to be charged to users shall be a minimum of $6.50 base monthly charge for each 3/4" water meter or equivalent multiple thereof, plus 185 cents ($1.85) per thousand gallons used per billing, based on winter water average usage. The City of Sugar City and the City of Teton shall pay $1.13 per thousand gallons. All utility customers located out of the City limits shall pay 30% additional for all charges.
