HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCE NO. 116 AMENDING THE DUTIES OF CITY CLERKA. `l. �G/ ( I. 9r Y U 1 I�.� `� �° REXBURG ORDINANCE NO. 116 AMENDING SECTION 2 CHAPTER TWO PART ONE, OF THE REVISED ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF REXBURG, IDAHO, PASSED AND APPROVED MARCH 7,1904 PRESCRIBING THE DUTIES OF THE CITY CLERK. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REXBURG IDAHO. SECTION I: That Section 2 Chapter Two Part One, of the revised ordinances of the city of Rexburg, Idaho, passed and approved March 7, 1904, be amended to read as follows: SECTION II: He shall be the keeper of the common seal of the city, and shall affix it to all public instruments or official acts of the council, which by the law or Ordinance are required to be attested by the City seal; and in the meantime preserve said seal in a secure place and secure from interference. He shall have custody of and safely keep all public records, documents, ordinances, resolutions and orders of the City Council and such other papers and documents pertaining to the City affairs as may be delivered into his custody. He shall attest all claims for accounts against the city when properly filled out, but the holders of all such claims must appear in person and be of legal age. Upon demand and payment of legal fees therefore he shall furnish to anyone applying therefore a copy of any record, paper or document of any kind in his possession certified under his hand and seal of office.
