ORDINANCE NO. 220
AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE SALARIES, AND THE TIME OF
PAYMENT THEREOF, OF THE MAYOR, COUNCILMEN AND CITY
CLERK OF THE CITY OF REXBURG.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
REXBURG, IDAHO;
SECTION I — That the salaries of the mayor, councilmen and city clerk of the city of
Rexburg shall be and are fixed as follows;
The annual salary of the Mayor shall be$400.
The annual salary of each Councihnan shall be $200.
The annual salary of the City Clerk shall be $1200.
Such salaries shall be payable in twelve equal installments, one installment at the end of each
month beginning with the month of May, 1919.
SECTION II — All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with any of the provisions
of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
SECTION III — This ordinance, after its passage, approval and due publication, shall take
effect on the first Tuesday of May 1919,

AFFIDAVIT OF PUBLICATION

COUNTY OF MADISON
I, W. LLOYD ADAMS, being first duly swom, depose and say: That I am the publisher of
the "Rexburg Standard ", a weekly newspaper of general circulation, published in the City of
Rexburg, Madison County, that the Ordinance No. 220. a copy of which is hereto attached, was
published in said newspaper for one week, the first publication having been made on the 271i day of
March, 1919 and the last on the 27h day of March, 1919, once that said Ordinance No. 220 was
published in the regular and entire issue of every number of the said newspaper during the period
and time of publication, and the same was published in the newspaper proper, and not in any
supplement.
