AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND CHANGING THE ZONING MAP
OF THE CITY OF REXBURG, IDAHO, TO PROVIDE THAT CERTAIN
PROPERTY HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED IN REXBURG, MADISON
COUNTY, IDAHO, IN SECTION 29, TOWNSHIP 6 NORTH, RANGE
40 E.B.M. AND SECTION 25, TOWNSHIP 6 NORTH, RANGE 39
E.B.M., BE ZONED R1; THAT PROPERTY HEREINAFTER DEXCRIBED
LOCATED IN REXBURG, MADISON COUNTY, STATE OF IDAHO, IN
SECTION 20, TOWNSHIP 6 NORTH, RANGE 40 E.B.M., AND IN
SECTION 25, TOWNSHIP 6NORTH, RANGE 39 E.B.M., BE ZONED.
R2' THAT PROPERTY HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED LOCATED IN
SECTIONS 29 AND 30, TOWNSHIP 6 NORTH, RANGE 40 E.B.M.
BE ZONED R3, MID THAT PROPERTY HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED
IN LOT 2 BLOCK 41, OF THE ORIGINAL REXBURG TOWNSITE
BE ZONED COMMERCIAL.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REXBURG, IDAHO:
SECTION I: That the zoning map of the City of Rexburg, Idaho, certified by the
Mayor and Council of the City of Rexburg, Idaho, and filed with the Clerk thereof, be,
and the same is hereby amended to.rpovide that the following described property situated
in Rexburg, Madison County, State of Idaho, be zoned as - follows: -
ZONED R " -1 ":
(1) Commencing at the Northeast corner of the Northwest Quarter of Section 29, Township
6 North, Range 40 East, Boise Meridian, in Madison County, State of Idaho, and running
thence West 313.5 feet; thence. South 396 feet; thence East 313.5 feet; thence North 396
feet to the point of beginning..
(Note: The above description does not include - any -of the Madison Memorial Hospital lands
but only the land to the East thereof which is west of the East line of the City Boundary
line.)
(2) Commencing at the point 1318.5 feet North and 709.5 feet East of the Southwest corner
of Section 29, Township 6 North, Range 40 East, Boise Meridian, in Madison County,
State of Idaho, and running thence.North 777 feet, more or less, to the South . line of
the Sorenson Addition to the City of Rexburg, thence East 610 feeti more or less, to the
West line of the Neville Valleview Addition to the City of Rexburg, thence South 777 feet;
thence West 610 feet to the point of beginning. -

(1) Commencing at a point 330 feet West of the Northeast corner of the Southwest Quarter
of Section 20, Township 6 North, Range 40 East, Boise Meridian, in Madison County, State
of Idaho, and running thence West 841.5 feet; thence South 726 feet; thence East 49.5 feet;
thence South 1089 feet; thence East 792 feet; thence North 1815 feet to the point of
beginning.
(NOTE: The above is school District No. 321 (High School Tract) and adjoining land)
(2) Commencing at a point 1646.23 feet South and 49.5 feet West of the Northeast corner of
Section 25, Township 6 North, Range 39 East, Boise Meridian, in Madison County, State of
Idaho, and running thence West. 290.5 feet; thence South approximately 2025 feet to the Westerlv
line of the Union Pacific Railroadright - of -wav: thence North 300 25' East approximately
500 feet to the West line of South Fifth West Street; thence North approximately 1565 feet
to the point of beginning.

(3) Commencing at a point 198 feet South and 330 feet West of the Northeast corner of Section

and running thence West approximately 265 feet; thence South approximately 125 feet; thence
West approximately 170 feet, thence South 342.5 feet; thence East 435 feet; thence North
497.5 feet to the point of beginning.

with other properties.)

(1) Commencing at a point 1318.5 feet North and 264 feet East of the Southwest_ corner of
Section 29, Township 6North,.Range40 East, Boise Meridian, in Madison County, State of
Idaho, and running thence North 183.5 feet; thence East 115.5 feet; thence North 453.75 feet;
thence West 9.5 feet, more or less, to the West line of Harvard Avenue. Thence North 139.75
feet, more or less, to the South line of Sorenson Addition to the City of Rexburg, thence
East 339.5 feet; thence South 777 feet; thence West 445.5 feet to the point of beginning.
(NOTE: This is the Tract East of the City Reservoir. and Well.)-
(2)The- 'Southeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 30, Township 6 North, Range
40 East, Boise Meridian, in Madison County, State of Idaho.
(NOTE: This is acreage within the City Limits lying Southwest of the College Campus.)

Commencing at the Northwest corner of Lot 2, Block 41 of the Original Rexburg Townsite, in
the City of Rexburg, in Madison County, State of Idaho, as per the recorded plat thereof
and running thence East 211.2 feet to the West line of the Union Pacific Railroad right of
wasy; thence South 30023' West approximately 425 feet to the West line of Lot 3, of said Block
41, thence North along said line approximately 365 feet to the point of beginning.
(NOTE: This tract is on West Main. Street adjacent to Railroad Depot.)
SECTION II: That new zoning map showing this amendment shall be certified to and
declared to be the official zoning map of the City of Rexburg by a certificate of the
Mayor and Council of the City of Rexburg endorsed thereon.
