It is the Developer's responsibility to coffectly identify on the site plan the location of these lines in tefetence to the public right-of-way, other adjoining property lines, the street, other strucrutes and all utiJity fines. The Developet should find properry pins that are still available at the lot rn question. If these pins do not exist or have become unrecognizable then a new survey should be performed. Accurate property line infotmation is a must for a timely review. In addition to finding existing property pins, legal descriptions should be checked. The best way to identify property line location is with a land surr ey. The City of Rexbug has aerial photos and a parcel line layer that can be checked, but they are only a tool and are not guaranteed for accwacy. Where loose fill insulation exists, a baffle or retainer is installedto maintain insulation application. tr Wood-burning fireplaces have gasketed doors and outdoor combustion air. Sunrooms: tr Sunrooms that are thermally isolated from the building envelope have a maximum fenestration U-factor of 0.S0 and the maximum skylight U-factor of 0.75. New windows and doors separating the sunroom from conditioned space meet the building thermal envelopereouirements. Vapor Retarder: tr A minimum of Class ll (1.0 perm) vapor retarder is installed on the interior side of above-grade framed walls or it has been determinedthat moisture or its freezing will not damage the materials. Exceptions: Class lll (10 perm or less) vapor retarder is permifted for vented cladding over fiberboardl gypsum, or for sheathing over 2x4 framtnghaving insulation of R-7.5 or better, or for sheathing over 2x6 framing having insulation ot R-t t.ZS or better. Materials ldentification and Installation: tr Materials and equipment are installed in accordance with the manufacturer's installation instructions. tr Insulation is installed in substantial contact with the surface being insulated and in a manner that achieves the rated R-value. tr Materials and equipment are identified so that compliance can be determined. tl Manufacturer manuals for all installed heating and cooling equipment and service water heating equipment have been provided. tr Insulation R-values, glazing U-factors, and heating and cooling equipment efficiency are clearly marked on the building plans orspecifications. Duct Insulation: tr Supply ducts in attics are insulated to a minimum of R-8. All other ducts in unconditioned spaces or outside the building envelope areinsulated to at least R-6. Duct Construction: tr Air handlers, filter boxes, and duct connections to flanges of air distribution system equipment or sheet metal fittings are sealed andmechanically fastened. All joints' seams, and connections are made substantially airtight with tapes, gasketing, mastics (adhesives) or other approved closuresystems. Tapes and mastics are rated UL 1 g1A or UL 1 g1 B. Building framing cavities are not used as supply ducts. Automatic or gravity dampers are installed on all outdoor air intakes and exhausts. Additional requirements for tape sealing and metal duct crimping are included by an inspection for compliance with the InternationalMechanical Code. Temperature Controls: tr Thermostats exist for each separate HVAC system. A manual or automatic means to partially restrict or shut off the heating andiorcooling input to each zone or floor is provided. Heating and Cooling Equipment Sizing: Additional requirements for equipment sizing are included by an inspection for compliance with the International Residential Code. For systems serving multiple dwelling units documentation has been submitted demonstrating compliance with 2006 IECC CommercialBuilding Mechanical and/or Service Water Heating (Sections 503 and 504). Girculating Service Hot Water Systems: Circulating service hot water pipes are insulated to R-2.
