Comprehensive Plan / Land Use Amendment Lisa Ellis 1042 \fest 7'h South On Decembet 20,2073,Lisa Ellis presented to the Rexburg City Planning&Zonnng Coordinatot a Request to amend the curent Comprehensive Plan Map (File #13 00532) to change from Single numily Residential to Low-Moderate Density Residential for the property at 7O42West 7'h South' On Decemb et 20,201,3 the City Clerk sent the Notice of Public Hearing to be published in the local newspaper for Decembet28,2073 andJanuary 1.1.,2074. A notice was posted on the property. 3. OnJanuary 1,6,2074,Lisa Ellis presented the Comprehensive Plan Map Amendment request to the Rexburg Planning & Zonng Commission. Dan Hanna motioned to recommend to City Council to deny the Comprehensive Plan Map Amendment request for 7042West 7'h South pisa Ellis) to change ftom Singie Family Residential to Low-Moderate Density Residential. Jedd $Talket seconded the motion. Chairman Dyer asked if Mr. Hanna wished to make any additional clanficatton to the record concerning the motion. Dan Hanna stated that discussion as recorded in the minutes would explain the teason for the motion. Stephen Zol)tnger clarified that if the Comprehensive Plan Map Amendment request was granted, and subsequent approval of the zone change to MDR2 was granted, there could be up to 20 units per acre (about 50 units) on the subject property.
