RESOLUTION FOR ADOPTION OF
VISION 2020 REXBURG COMPREHENSIVE PLAN MAP
Resolution 2008 — 07
WHEREAS, on the 23 d day of Tanua , 2008, the City Council for the City of Rexburg was
duly convened upon notice properly given and a quorum was duly noted; and
WHEREAS, the appropriate public hearings have been held before the Planning and
Zoning Commission on December 06`h, 2007; and the City Council on January 23', 2008,
with regards to amendments to the City ofRexburg Vision 2020 Comprehensive Plan
Map dated the 16`' of November, 2007; and
WHEREAS, the City Council reviewed and approved the requested changes as delineated
by area with regards to amendments to the City ofRexburg Vision 2020 Comprehensive
Plan Map, dated the 16``' of November, 2007;
Area 1:
(Located in the Impact Area for the City of Rexburg)
It is proposed that the following tract of land currently designated as "Low -Moderate
Residential" as shown on the City of Rexburg Preferred Land Use Map be changed to
"Commercial", said property more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the Northeast corner of Section 26, Township 6 North, Range 39 East, Boise
Meridian, thence West along the north boundary line of said section 1612 feet; thence South
728.5 feet; thence East 1612 feet; thence North along the East boundary line of said section
728.5 feet to the point of beginning, containing 26.96 acres, more or less.
Area 3:
(Located in the City of Rexburg)
It is proposed that the following tract of land currently designated as "Moderate -High
Residential Density" as shown on the City of Rexburg Preferred Land Use Map be changed to
"Commercial", said property more particularly described as follows:
Tract 1: Commencing at a point 98 feet West of the Southeast corner of Block 8 of the
Parker Addition to the City of Rexburg, Madison County, Idaho, as per the recorded plat
thereof, and running thence North 99 feet; thence West 34 feet; thence South 99 feet; thence
East 34 feet to the point of beginning.
Tract 2: Commencing at a point 132 feet West of the Southeast Corner of Lot 5, Block 8, of
Parker Addition to the City of Rexburg, in Madison County, Idaho, as per the recorded plat
thereof, and running thence West 70 feet; thence North 125 feet; thence North 45 East
28.28 feet; thence East 50 feet; thence South 145 feet to the point of beginning.
Tract 3: Commencing at a point that is West 202.00 feet from the Southeast corner of Block
8 of Parker Addition to the City of Rexburg, in Madison County, Idaho as per recorded plat
thereof, and running thence West 15 feet; thence North 115.0 feet to a point on a curve with
a radius of 50.0 feet; thence Northeasterly around said curve to the right a distance of 78.54
feet; thence East 35.0 feet; thence South 20.0 feet; thence West 50.0 feet; thence South 45
West 28.28 feet; thence South 125.0 feet to the point of beginning.

Planning and Zoning Commission concerning adoption of the City ofRexburg Vision
2020 Comprehensive Plan Map updated the 23 d of January, 2008.

I, Rick Wallace, being first duly sworn, depose and say, that
I am the publisher of the STANDARD JOURNAL, a 5
times a week newspaper published 5 times a week in
Madison and Fremont Counties, Idaho; and I do solemnly
swear that the Notice of Public Hearing to amend the
comprehensive plan map for the City of Rexburg, a copy of
which notice appears attached hereto, was published in the
regular and entire issue of said newspaper, and not in any
supplement issue, once an issue thereof for two issues, the
first publication having been made on January 5, 2008 and
the last publication having been made on January 19, 2008.
Further, that said newspaper is one of general circulation in
said county; that it is a legal newspaper, conforming to legal
specifications under the Idaho Statutes; that it has at least two
hundred bona fide subscribers living within the county of
publication; and that it has been continuously and
uninterruptedly published in said county during a period of
eventy-eight consecutive weeks prior to the first publication
