1) Landscaping needs to be installed
The Planning and Zoning Department would request that a temporary certificate of

resolve the above stated issues.

Could you tell me how much the interest is due on the Express Wash Car Wash? I need the interest just on the water and
sewer connection fees and not the street impact fee. I spoke with John and he is not going to charge interest on the street
impact fee but we will split the difference with him on the other. I would like to call him with the number before I leave today
if that's possible.

Final inspections have been completed for this project. The following items are those
that are outstanding and should be addressed in order to consider the project completed:
1) Landscaping needs to be installed
The Planning and Zoning Department would request that a temporarX certificate of
occupancy be issued that is valid until July 14, 2008 in order for the development to
resolve the above stated issues.

Dear Garrett:
The Express Car Wash located at 734 N 2nd E, was issued a temporary Certificate of
Occupancy while site plan items were still being installed. It expired on 9/5/08 at
which time the Planning & Zoning Department went out and did a re- inspection to
make sure requirements had been met. The results of the site plan re- inspection are:
1) Trash dumpster needs to be enclosed
2) Landscaping was not installed per the approved site plan. Installation of sod,
shrubs and ground cover appear to be not complete (i.e. sot hanging over
curbing).
We will be happy to extend the temporary Certificate of Occupancy so these items
can be finished. Please provide us with a timeline of when they will be completed.

Applicant- Garrett Sandow representing Express Car Wash

The issues that were addressed were the exterior building color, the rock wainscot, and the stucco
columns.
The builder was asking if he could run the 4 feet of rock wainscot all along the bottom of the walls with
the stucco columns going down to the wainscot rather than to the ground. The committee members
agreed, as this design meets the overall intent of the design standards, which is to break up the long
wall.
The choice of color was to be determined for the exterior of the building, on the gabled ends. The
builder brought a chip of the rust color (included in file # 07 00258) so the committee could determine if
it was a true rust and not the prohibited (design standards) color red. The committee decided on this
rust color.
