To replace the holdowns will require a drilled and epoxied in anchor bolt with a Simpson PHD6 -SDS3 holdown. Enclosed with this letter is Simpson PHD6 -SDS3 literature with minimum edge and end distances requirements. At this time, G &S will not be performing any construction observation. This letter and the Simpson literature apply only to the items listed above and do not cover any other structural aspects of the house; nor mechanical, electrical or architectural features.
