On January 3, 2008, Aaron Robertson presented to the City of Rexburg Planning & Zoning Coordinator a request and application for a zone change for the property located at 814 N. Yellowstome from Medium Density Residential One(MDR1 ) to Community Business Center(CBC). 2. On January 7, 2008, the City Clerk sent the Notice of Public Hearing to be published in the local newspaper for January 19, 2008 and February 2, 2008. A notice was posted on the property and sent to all property owners within 300 feet of the above mentioned property. 3. On February 7, 2008, David Waters presented to the Planning & Zoning Commission for the City of Rexburg the Request for a Rezone for the property located at 814 N. Yellowstone from Medium Density Residential 1 (MDR1) to Community Business Center (CBC). Mary Ann Mounts motioned to recommend to City Council to approve the zone change from MDR1 to CBC at 814 N. Yellowstone. Dan Hanna seconded the motion. None opposed. Motion carried. 4. On March 05, 2008 at City Council, Planning and Zoning Administrator Leikness reviewed the proposal on the overhead screen. The proposal is in conformance with the Comprehensive Plan. Council Member Erickson indicated it was a good proposal. Council Member Erickson moved to approve the Blue Ox Development at 814 N. Yellowstone from MDR1 to CBC; Council Member Schwendiman seconded the motion; all voted aye, none opposed.
