1~ AUG 2 9 2005 IU
This letter is to certify that G & S Structural Engineers reviewed the structural framing for the above
location. G&S Structural Engineers' review was based upon the requirements and the restrictions of
the 2003 Uniform Building Code and reasonable professional effort was made to comply with other
codes and regulations in effect at the time of the review. The review incorporated a 65 PSF floor
live load (washing machines) and a 100 PSF concrete slab dead load.
Included are 4 - 8 %2 x 11; "Section Details" and "Structural Drawing Notes".
The review is intended to cover the structural design of the concrete platform at the location
referenced above. This letter is not intended to cover mechanical, electrical or architectural features.
The design is for a one time use for the above referenced project and none of the design or portions
of the design are to be used or reused on any other projects without the written consent of G&S
Structural Engineers. Due to the limited involvement and no construction observation, G&S
Structural Engineers is limiting our liability to $6500.
If there are any questions of if I can be of further assistance please don't hesitate to call.
